The Hybrid version saw minimal changes in 2024 (vs 2023), and is a virtual carry-over again into the 2025 model. 

Kia Canada's 2017 Niro Hybrid was introduced as it's first dedicated green nameplate, with no internal combustion parallel version. And, the second generation 2023 model was a full re-design front-to-back, inside-and-out, delivering a new level of technology, comfort, luxury, convenience, comfort, safety and efficiency into the vehicle.  It continues to offer solid value and is a great option for a both urban or rural environments.

Not everyone is ready to go all-electric with their transportation needs and that's where the Niro Hybrid slots in, offering a green footprint, while removing the possibility of range anxiety. And, Kia didn't skimp in making the the Hybrid version as value-packed as the Niro PHEV or EV versions.

In addition to an urban-friendly size, with ample cargo space and an affordable starting price point, the 2025 Kia Niro Hybrid boasts fashionable styling that's both striking and tasteful.

The interior reflects the exterior's image, with a cabin that's equally as well-appointed and sharp as the exterior. Where possible, Kia incorporated sustainable materials, included in it's seating and headliner.

Offered in 4 trim levels (LX, EX , EX Premium and SX), with 139hp and plenty of off-the-line kick (from its 194lb-ft of torque), the Hybrid platform's fuel efficiency doesn't come as a result of voiding the vehicle of power. 

Today's consumers demand safety and technology in their vehicles, and the Niro Hybrid has them both, with much of it offered in the base model (and up) as standard equipment. Blindspot Detection, Front and Rear Collision avoidance and Lane Keep and Follow assist don't require any package upgrades as they are found in the LX.
